Duane Adams owned property on Salt Spring Island for many years. In 2023 he made the permanent move to Salt Spring. Royal T was founded with his two loves – baking and collecting royal memorabilia. Come and see the fascinating collection of royal memorabilia and stay for afternoon tea.

While in Edmonton Duane owned and ran his own Montessori School. Since moving to Salt Spring Island, he has decided to make a change and devote more time to his love of cooking and baking. In Edmonton he pursued this love by enrolling in culinary courses at NAIT and also taking other cooking courses including ones taught by the royal chef to Queen Elizabeth.
